OHmygod I was going insane after trashing my preferences, reinstalling protools and STILL not seeing any of my purchased plugins! Your advice of simply creating a stereo track fixed my problem and they are all there now! No one ever suggested this before, you are a true hero- thank you thank you thank

I had a mono track and that's why I couldn't find my plug-in. Thank you so much. I changed it to stereo and there was my plugin Komplete Kontrol. Thanks you much. Saved me a lot of time.

I never bothered to see if I could search for plugins by category AND manufacturer. This is how Logic Pro does it by default. Thank you for this tip!! I was going nuts sifting through my plugins by category alone in Pro Tools.

Searched for ages and nothing, but your very first tip was my problem exactly. Seems like a simple oversight in hindsight, but I think it'dve taken me a long long time to figure this out. Big ups.

I am having problems getting the plugins to display, whilst they are all showing installed in programs folder, I noticed that the drivers are missing out of the mix, have tried installing a couple of times with the same result ...any thoughts on this would be gratefully appreaciated

Usually the default pro tools plugin folder location in windows 7 64 bit or windows 10 64 bit is in this path:
C:\program files\common files\avid\audio\plug-ins. Hope this helps windows users to find their pro tools aax plugins.
