You add a new plugin to your system. Open up FL Studio and expect it to be there. But no, nowhere to be found. Classic. Most DAW's auto scan and pick up new stuff. But you know FL it does its own thing, Its OG like that. Follow this process to get fix those plugins not showing up in FL Studio.

Even after following all these steps and selecting the folders that I know contain plug ins I've downloaded, I still only have access to those that come free with FL 🤷‍♂

I know this video is 2 years old, but here's something I learned plugins need to be in the default VST2 location like ProgramFiles/Common Files/VST3, otherwise they won't show up no matter how many times you rescan etc

When I put the plug-in in fl studio I see it in the list but when I click it it just says the title of the file and it doesn’t do anything, you know what to do?

in my case, when i want to select a plug-in to use, all of my plugins are gone and it only has newtime and tuner, i didn’t do anything tho. Can you help me, pls?

If you click them on and still doesnt show up. When u go the the effect rack to select plug in, scroll down to more plug ins and they will be there

Thanks for the tut! Can you tell me how to find the plugin dock that is supposed to appear on the right side of the mixer when you select each individual channel on the channel rack? That whole dock keeps randomly disappearing on me in the middle of a project. Super annoying.
