That is wild to me. I love having an expressive face. I think it takes part in processing emotions since my body can feel me externalizing what emotions I am having. Not being able to frown or raise eyebrows would not be an option for me. Plus all the medical and cosmetic risks.

Botox is so friggin amazing. SO MANY medical uses!!! My kiddo gets Botox in her salivary glands to slow down saliva production. I am supposed to get it in my jaw for TMJ. So cool!!

Can you speak to the use of Botox and fillers with tretinoin? I've read that using tretinoin can cause degradation of the Botox or fillers. Is this true? If so, what is the difference in duration of Botox/filler on someone without tretinoin vs someone who uses tretinoin? Thank you in advance!

Dosage leads to duration. That’s what they always explain. If it’s wearing off too soon… perhaps you needed more. Assuming it won’t cause droop or other unwanted effects.

You tried to change yourself because you felt ugly and it never lead to acceptance then you accepted yourself and your mindset changed and you started feeling pretty. I think that accepting yourself leads you to make the RIGHT changes for you.

Botox is a big reason why viewers are constantly complaining on youtube that “new movies and tv arent as magical as the old days.” Because actors dont express normal human facial reactions anymore. Makes a huge difference.

The expressions used to convey fear, anger, sadness, and happiness are similar throughout the world…so if you’re face won’t move - you do not appear human. I feel so sorry for children nowadays - babies learn from their mothers’ expressions and so many women’s faces are immobilized.

My understanding is that a person can't just inject botox an unlimited number of times, and that over time you can get damage. If so, why bother to start down that path at all?
