ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Using my own throwing action as a coach is one of the best instructions I've heard in my 30 years of playing golf. Bravo my friend summer Bravo.

I tried this yesterday while hitting a bucket of balls at the range. I hit more solid iron shots during this session than I have in the last 5 trips COMBINED. I'm finally excited about playing golf again. My inability to hit decent iron shots was so depressing that I was seriously considering giving up the game for good. Thank you!!!

Awesome stuff, Danny....Former college baseball player here, and the feel of the transfer when throwing a ball is the exact same. Thanks for giving club golfers everywhere hope! It's about chasing that feel!!!

Hello Danny, Thank`s for your details. Every time i tried to hit ball then turf, my tendency was to topping the ball or stock my club in the ground and hurting my wrist. My next work will be to stop choped down movement, that like you say it is not natural. For now when i go on my driving range my warmup include the throwing freezbee movement and the throwing little rocs movement. But the fact is that i am not a true lefthandle golfer but i play
like this since ever and i have 56, i will not change for righthandle for sure. I throw ball from right, i hold all raquets
from right but i play hockey and golf from left, so yes it`s hard for me when i practice to throw little rocs from my left hand... but it`s realy help for my golf movement and it`s realy easy for the freezbee movement that is my natural right hand for that. So we continue our efforts and we do not let go! Many Thank`s Again!!

The throwing action - even just simulating it as part of my pre swing routine has changed the way I hit irons! Thank you Danny you earned this sub and likes

This video changed everything about iron play for me. The athletic throwing motion was a total epiphany for me. Without even a chance to practice 😮 my husband asked what changed since our last game two days prior.
Thank you so very much 😎⛳👍

Thanks again Danny. You've got the skill to articulate the drill in such a way that us mere mortals can understand it and put it into practice. I've seen a few of your videos on the same topic, they're all extremely helpful but this is excellent. At the core of every good strike is "ball then turf". You put a lot of your time and thought into these videos, it's really appreciated. Keep them coming please.

I have watched at least 30 other videos trying to explain how to rotate and hit golf ball first then ground, and I still couldn't get it. It has been my nightmare for the past 50+ driving range practices and training. My local trainer couldn't explain it either - he wanted me to focus on "rotation, rotation", I was like " I am rotating!! aren't I?? I don't get it! ". I watched this video, the long awaited video, not only am I now rotating correctly, but the swings are so much less stressing on the back and its much easier to swing. It was such an easy concept which was complicated all way too much by trainers.. you just nailed it! Now, when I keep forgetting how to rotate, I just keep pretending I'm throwing a golf ball like you have shown to get into correct position. Why Danny did you not bring this video before!!? (Its only 2 days in, but has been the biggest impact to my golf than any other training)

I absolutely love how you bring our natural motion into the golf swing. It sure helps me not to think to much about turning the hips, hit down on the ball, etc, etc., but to let the body flow naturally. Thanks Danny!

OMG, this was my problem to a tee, no pun intended. I watched this video several times and I learned more from the 1:20 minute through the 1:50 minute than any other video I have seen. Well fast forward to today, this past weekend we played 18 holes on a very hard course and your video lesson helped me cut my strokes by 10 strokes, amazing!!! My friends even made a comment about how pure I was hitting my irons and couldn't believe it. I usually sweep my irons and the shot goes left or right, not anymore. Thank you for such a great video Danny!!!

Oh by the way I was 4 for 4 on the par 3 greenies . So excited to go play again. Thanks again Danny.

Your methods make so much sense. I love them. Using this and the chipping instruction has made a huge difference in my game.

Best video I've seen on ball-first contact. An excellent lesson for those struggling with hitting the ball fat as well. If you just try to push the hands forward, without the accompanying body rotation, you're in for some real frustration. Great stuff Danny.

It's really great when that thing you've been told over and over again is translated into something you've known how to do all your life.
Great video Danny, this has really helped me not only hit the ball better, but realise what I did wrong when I didn't hit it well - which at my stage, 18 months into the game, is just as important as knowing how to do it right.
Thanks man.

Great video again Danny, its hard for LH golfer who is RHanded to coordinate the throwing motion but I get it. When I hit the ball fat I will look at the front of the ball or even grass in front of ball. Hard to do but works for me

I was a member of Canterbury GC in the early 80’s and proud to say my name is on a couple of boards. The pro then accused me of having a swing suitable for scything grass! Now at 67 playing off 10. Your lessons are fantastic Danny and very helpful indeed. I will make the journey from Hampshire and book

You do have it! After many years of flipping my timing is getting better and little divots appear usually at he ball equator and in front. Not compressing the ball still the problem, I did hit a crunching 3 wood the other day after rehearsing the ball throwing drill. Watching you hit with what appears to be an effortless swing just leaves me wanting!! 🤕🤒 I just finished playing and have to report the throwing drill as a preswing thought, along with right elbow attaching to side gave me great contact through just about every shot, I’m elated!

So logical & easy to follow the throwing of a ball similarity to the golf swing.
Thanks Tim

Excellent lesson Danny - a strong theme over the last few lessons seems to be fluidity of movement through the downswing to get the lower half of the body moving, rather than the rigid stance that so many of us have adopted over time. This is really working for me - and clearly for so many of your other subscribers. Many thanks as ever!

Danny - you are unique - the way you here explain this movement is so fantastic!
Have now tried myself to simulate a throwing motion - and then compare - and there was also a huge difference.
Thanks for opening my eyes and prove to me that my leg motions can be improved a lot 👍
