Seeing the position of that divot in relation to the ball is extremely helpful. I would not have guessed that it should be 2-3 inches in front of the ball. I always thought is should be starting directly under the ball. And I wonder why I hit it fat so often. Something to work on. Thanks Rick.

I remember just starting out in golf, I was always told the way to effectively hit a golf ball, was ball first, grass after. Never could do it until really focusing on videos like this, now taking a divot every time, and distance of the ball comes flying off the face! Unbelievable and absolutely incredible feeling it is!!! I found it !!!
After watching for the 3rd time this week it clicked.
It is rotating trail shoulder pass the ball BEFORE the strike that proved the lesson. Half an hour of practice on mat already showing improvements. But i can only do it at lower speed maybe at 60 or 70 percent. faster swing feel a very flatened shoulder plane.
