Stupid question: wouldn't partner DL be better if girls get wider grip, going over the guys wrist?

the different locked heights would help partner with greater diff. in size. The girl wider grip will end up in a higher position, leveraged by the guy's arm

p.s.: stupid because I should find a girl and test it at the gym, and because i am not sure if the rules would allow it.

Wow In Womens Event 1 Heat 2 in the closest lane to the camera the counter misses big time.  He must have been paying too much attention to her breast than counting.  He doesn't wave off any and she does 23 before he raises his hand for 5 more to go. So on the first set of 25 she does 28. I rechecked and he waved only 1 off. So he miss counted and made her do 2 more than she should.
