To become a true legend, you always need a nemesis. When you dominate 100% over long period people always raise other types of questions. For example case 1. Michael Schumacher and Ferrari dominance... Response.. "The car was too good" case 2 rossi and Honda dominance... Response.. "the bike was unbeatable" case 3 federer before nadal arrived.. Response " he didn't have any real opponents".

He is a true legend and the most important, is very down to earth, a humble man, who''s enjoying this sport as Rossi enjoys riding motorcycles...I think he plays a very intelligent and elegant tennis... having every single time so much respect for his opponents makes me love and respect him even more very time.I never saw any sign of envy during all this years when he loosed in front of the other players..I wish him the best because he deserve it!

Roger went into that match believing, and he certainly achieved what others thought he couldn't. One thing i noticed is not only his belief in himself, but his confidence, not once did he look like he was feeling down, and he kept fighting! A true legend of the sport, and i am so glad to be a massive fan of his and have witnessed this amazing match and his AO2017 journey. 18 was definitely worth all the heartbreak (with coming so close, many times) and the wait! Love yah Roger! & Kudos to both players!

I used to hate Nadal but as time pass I learned to appreciate his greatness. When GOAT discussion comes up, imo they are actually 1a & 1b. As RF puts it, I feel they are evenly GREAT !
