How To Make A Churchwarden Pipe

Показать описание
This video shows my method for making a churchwarden pipe, more specifically a churchwarden pipe that utilizes a single piece of uninterrupted wood rather than a separate bowl and stem or halves that are glued together.
Prior to making the form I use for bending the stem in this video, I had a very makeshift approach. I'd like to credit @arcangeloambrosi4130 since I borrowed the general idea for the form shown here from a video of his. He is an incredible pipe maker and sculptor!
Thanks to my brother, Jake, for letting me catch a few shots of him smoking his pipe for this video!
Pipes that I make will be posted to my Facebook page if you are interested in seeing or purchasing them.
- I use the 7/8" Danish and 3/4" English drills frequently.
- My recommendation is to use the 1/8" bits, but I'll include links to 3mm too.
1/8"
3mm
3/16"
- This pack includes all the grits of sandpaper I use in the video.
- This is the tube I use for joining the bits
- There are plenty of glues and epoxies out there, but this is what I use.
Some of these are affiliate links, and purchase of the product helps the channel at no additional cost to you.
