Instant Tomato Soup ⏰ 🥣
Introducing a gastronomic revolution for busy bees: The next-gen, homemade instant tomato soup powered by the cutting-edge @thermomixukandireland TM6!
A nutritious, time-saving taste-packed delight if you’re swamped with meetings or simply looking for a quick, delicious meal!
This recipe yields about 6 instant portions, and if stored in jars or the handy little bags I’ve shown, has a shelf life of six months. Vacuum-pack them, and you can extend this to a year – although, with this taste, I doubt they’ll last that long! 🤤
Dreaming about one of these Thermomix? Follow, share and stay tuned 👀✨ #ad
📝 Recipe (using Thermomix TM6):
Ingredients:
1 garlic clove
1 onioN
650g pelati
a few leaves of basil
3 tbsp homemade bouillon (recipe on the page)
3 tbsp homemade potato flour (recipe on the page)
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp homemade mylk powder (optional, recipe on the page)
Instructions:
In the Thermomix TM6, blitz the garlic and onion for 5 seconds on Speed 7.
Scrape down, add oil, and sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C on Speed 1.
Incorporate the homemade pelati
Cook this mixture for 25 minutes at 120°C on Speed 2.
Spread thinly across dehydrator trays.
Dehydrate at 60°C until fully dried (duration varies based on thickness).
Break the dried soup, return it to the Thermomix, and blitz with the bouillon, potato flour, and mylk powder on Speed 10 for a minute or until finely powdered.
🗝️ If you do not have a Thermomix you can Just cook the vegetables in a pan and achieve the same results.
If you want the Thermomix 👆🏼
🔌 For those conscious about energy consumption:
The dehydrator utilised operates between 0.8 to 1KW per hour. With my energy rate standing at approximately 36p per kW, and using it, say, for 20 hours a month, it amounts to a mere £7.20. This recipe required less than 5 hours, making it a worthy investment in my book.
