When does implantation spotting occur? How do I know I'm having it, or my period, or something else?

Implantation spotting, if it does occur, usually happens 10 to 14 days after fertilization. So it might very well happen about the time a woman is supposed to start her period. So for women who do notice implantation spotting, it might just look like an abnormally light or short period. This is very possible. So because of this, if pregnancy is a possibility at all for you, I do recommend taking a home pregnancy test. And if it's positive, congratulations! But if it's negative, and you still suspect pregnancy, wait another week and see what happens. If you start a full-blown normal period, then chances are that you're not pregnant. But if you still haven't started bleeding in another week, repeat the test, because sometimes false negatives can be seen if the test is taken a little bit too early.

I want to share my experience I had a Normal period for 3 months and had lots of headaches never crossed my mind that I was pregnant until I felt lots of movement on my belly and at the er I had an ultrasound done I was shocked to see a lil fetus jumping around. a period don't always mean your not pregnant. now I have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. good luck ladies

Hi Monique.. If u don have implantation bleeding that's normal too! I have my First Pregnancy in Yr 2002 and found out only when i'am at 11 weeks but i do have mild cramping before that which i was unaware of. My Baby Daughter is nw 14 yrs old.. So don worry.. Enjoy ur pregnancy..😍

Could you possibly get pregnant on the depo birth control shot I get my next shot on the 30th but my doctor said it could be less affecting towards the end of the shot and my fiancée cummed in me and it’s to soon to take a test it was about a week ago I just didn’t know if it was absolutely possible and I should wait to get the next to be sure or just go ahead and get it ??? Please help
