In the human beings fertilization happens in the outer one third of the fallopian tube. Implantation bleeding usually happens 6 to 12 days after ovulation or just prior to the missed period. It is not like normal menstrual cycle. It is slight spotting, pinkish or brownish discharge which happens just prior to menstruation or may be in a week’s time. It might be met with some cramps.
