IT WORKED!!! I did steps 1, 2 and 3 (clean and soak the cartridges for a few minutes) and even the colour one that I thought was empty, is now working because it actually still had some ink in it. Awesome! I've tried all the head cleaning utilities, 2nd level as well, repeated twice but it just got worse. Took the cartridges out and cleaned as per your instructions, ink was then very clearly coming out on the the kitchen roll. Put the cartridges back in, printed a test page PERFECTLY!! I had some unopened black ink cartridges for my HP printer that showed it was full on HP smart app but the return label I was trying to print was coming out blank, after 2 hours of my own troubleshooting, I came acros this video. I finally got the black ink to work by first using q-tip method, it didn’t really budge, so I took some warm water and dipped the bottom part of cartridge (as demonstrated in video) applied a bit of pressure on piece of paper, KIND of left the strip damp and I seen the ink coming out more & more so I quickly put it back in my printer, printed a test page….BLANK….ran a level 1 cartridge clean via Hp smart app, results were wayyy better than after the first cartridge clean I did 2 hours prior to YouTube and something just told me, girl do a level 2 clean….WHEW I almost shouted because it worked! Kind sir, thank you!

Oh My Goodness! I hadn't printed anything for awhile and when I tried I was having this issue and was panicking because I thought something was wrong with my printer. It didn't say the ink was low and I downloaded the app, which showed I still had ink. I followed your steps unplugging than washing the cartridge, and low and behold it worked. I quickly dismissed soaking the ink cartridges in warm water because I had new ink cartridges so that couldn't be 'my solution', oh no. HOWEVER!!! Thanks a mill bro! I also slammed the printer to order a new one (it barely a year old and hardly use it). I replaced my ink months back and never used it. I cleaned with the earbuds and also soaked in water in about 2mins +. I dabbed it and observed the ink coming thru. I just printed some important documents...Thanks again. God bless.
