On the elitebooks, there’s an inbuilt privacy screen dimmer that is activated via FN+F2 (F2 has an icon that looks like a laptop with some dots on the screen), if you disable that the screen becomes bright once again!

The Probook 450 G9 is available with 250 and 400 nits screen options. At least in my region, the 400 nits version is not available neither from third-party retailers nor HP directly. The 250 nits version is going to be dim no matter what you do.

and also forgot to mention my function keys are ignored and the same happens when i try to do it manually from setting the brightness slider does not work

hi if i can really get help with laptop id be amazing i have a hp elitebook g40 and yesterday while operating a software i did the the keybind ctrl+shift+alt+p whihc made the program run but afterwards my screen is dim and i cant seem to fix i will try resetting but what if it dosent fix then please help bc its reallyy hard for my eyes

I have followed every single instruction in this video but none of them have solved the issue at hand and it makes me wonder if you guys know how to solve anything

The issue at hand is that my laptop screen is so dim that at first it seems nothing is running but when you hold up a flashlight you find out that it is actually running .Also when you connect the laptop to the TV the screen gets displayed there. This all started when my laptop shutdown on its own and i'm guessing it was due to low battery so when I tried charging it and turning it on the madness began. I am not saying the shutdown most likely cause it but the coincidence is too obvious not too be considered. Send me a good link to solve it not some bullshit to make people think it has been solved.
