Giving a voice to those who feel invisible is so important. It reminds us of our shared humanity and just how validating it can be to listen to a persons story.

What a powerful thing she's doing, connecting with women in clubs like that and hearing their stories. I can't imagine what that would bring to them

It seems like there are so many layers to this issue that need attention. Grateful to people like Dotti who are jumping into advocacy instead of getting overwhelmed and disheartened.

I keep thinking about that quote she shared - "You can look the other way, but you can never say again that you did not know." It's a reminder of our responsibility to act on the knowledge we have. Ignorance is no longer an excuse.

Hearing about those girls made my stomach drop. It's really disturbing to think this kind of exploitation is happening right under our noses.

The part where she linked it to how she felt as a kid was so heart breaking but it just shows how empathy and experience can drive advocacy. That's important.

man, the story about the girl on the swing... that's gonna stick with me for a while. heartbreaking stuff. I can't imagine how traumatizing that must've been. makes you realize how important it is to keep an eye out for the kids in your community.

What she says about how trafficking in families is a big problem, even here in the U.S, that's important. I'm glad she's bringing attention to a part of trafficking that isn't discussed so much

her dad sounds like a real one. wish more people taught their kids that everyone's worth seeing and hearing. imagine how different the world would be if we all grew up with that mindset. might have to steal that for my own parenting.

her story is a powerful reminder that one person really can make a difference. She's impacted so many lives through her work, and now she's inspiring others to join the fight too. That's the kind of legacy I want to leave.

Yeah... the thing that gets me the most is how it seems to be right under our noses and we're just oblivious to it if we're not educated about it. I saw a post that was a conversation about someone trying to sell a mirror and because they'd taken a photo of it with themselves visible in the mirror someone thought they were selling the person and the mirror was just a way of advertising it openly. Absolutely crazy.

"Nobody sees me" - man, those words from that 13-year-old girl broke my heart. I'm so glad she was there to make her feel seen and valued. We all need someone like that in our lives.

Had no idea how much this was actually happening. Probably in every community too

It's so true that trafficking often happens right under our noses, like with the little girl being sold in the park. We need to be more vigilant and aware of the signs.

It's so sad to think about how many people feel invisible, especially after having experienced something so heinous. I hope this talk helps people to know there are many who share their experiences

Her story about the little girl sold from the swing set is heartbreaking. It's a reminder that we all need to be more vigilant and aware of the signs of trafficking.

One heck of a powerful presentation. Thanks to you, the "invisible" are clearly seen AND heard. Bravo

Her point about society overlooking the vulnerable was spot on. Why do we have so much disdain for those struggling to take care of themselves?
