Thanks for the videos, guys - always enjoyable and inspirational! Just finished a road trip around Scotland in my first van - when I give up work, hopefully not too far in the future, travels like yours are on the agenda! Thank you!

Wow your van takes a pounding. Now l understand how the vibration can loosen fixtures and fittings.

Hi, we have now sold our 6.7m Hymer AND our 4X4 Honda & bought a 5.4m Westfalia. BUT no way would I risk it on those roads! Do you use a separate sat-nav or Google Maps on your phone? Thinking of buying a separate one since I use my phone for other more important things. Love your vlogs.💖

Love watching you guys! wait with baited breath for the next upload. Our Self build Fiat Ducato Ambulance conversion is modelled on your layout after watching all of your videos and we love it. I do have one concern I bought an Omnia after I saw you cooking in one but note that you don't use it any more!

I hope your van will be back safe & sound. It’s a pity you’re in a wrong turn. 😊😊😅. But there’s always a plan B.👍

I hope you're getting to explore some towns and cities, because though it is beautiful, it not as beautiful as where you live.

Regarding the 6m Vs 5.4m question, I believe it's mainly a question of priorities. The extra room the 6m offers in the seating area, the kitchen area and the bed or the maneuverability of the 5.4m? Besides there's a French company (Poclain) that produces a really nice kit for the x250/x290 ducato (as well as for the Peugeot and Citroen versions) called Motricité Renforcée. It comprises a limited slip differential, raised suspension and underbody protection. Add a good set of off-road tires and you'll have a great van for going almost everywhere and still have a good living space. Hymer and now Possl are offering that kit as an option on their campervans and motorhomes as well. You can also check @viajandoa4patas in IG and his amazing 6m ducato. ;)

WHEN ALL THE PEOPLE TRUELY LOVE THEIR COUNTRY, THEY TAKE CARE OF THE COUNTRY AND CARE FOR EACH OTHER. NO ROOM FOR LOWLIFES OR THIEVES "NO TRASH".

Factory made motorhomes are made out of paper, cardboard and a few screws here and there. Of course everything shakes, rattles and squeals. I understand that in Finland building your own costs a huge amount of money compared to buying a motorhome that are under different tax laws, but they weren't really built for 24/7, 365 use. But yeah, if you're going to drive on really bad roads you need a raised van. There are lift kits you can buy and install, probably the easiest thing to do and certainly cheaper than a new 4x4.
