Dr. Robert Wood, Dr. Nicholas Coles, and Dr. Negin Saghafi are experts in dental implant consultations and procedures in Tucson, AZ. If you want to replace your missing teeth, dental implants are designed to look and function just like natural teeth. In addition to restoring your ability to eat and smile confidently, they also prevent bone loss and other problems associated with tooth loss. Professionals often recommend them as the first option you should consider when replacing missing teeth. They can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth in a row, or even an entire arch of missing teeth. When you come in for a consultation, your oral surgeon will review your situation and discuss all of your treatment options with you. Not everyone is a candidate, so it’s important to see a specialist for an evaluation before pursuing treatment.

Dr. Robert S. Wood has been an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for over 30 years. He is board-certified and practices the full scope of oral surgery, including dental implants, jaw surgery, wisdom teeth, dental extractions, and more. After completing his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, he decided to pursue his dental degree at The University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He earned his dental degree in 1980. He completed an internship and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience working with patients in a hospital environment.

Dr. Nicholas Coles is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has been practicing for over 10 years. He decided to pursue oral surgery after being exposed to dentistry through his family. He attended Utah State University for his undergraduate studies. After his undergraduate studies, he attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, where he graduated in 2007. Dr. Coles finished a four-year oral and maxillofacial residency program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. This hands-on oral surgery training program gave him real-world experience working with patients and performing procedures. After completing his residency program in 2012, he began practicing with Dr. Wood at Arizona Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Negin (“Nikki”) Saghafi is a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon who obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree during her six-year residency at UCLA.
