I dont know the proper phrasing of my question, but can I connect an smb to my mac's finder when I am connected to a different network? If so, how? And if not smb, how to I connect my synology nas to show in my finder without having to sync my files?

what is best to do when I wanna open the project from Local Network from NAS directly, without saving on Mac work with it, click Save and then work again later?
as I see it's should be like locally shared folder. but what would be best way to do this?
or (as another example) I wanna open my Music from NAS throgh the local network on the Mac, but play it on preinstalled player not throgh the Audio Station.

But I cannot view the folders in File Station, nor can I log in remotely as a user?
