I fell on my wrist not to long ago, my thumb as been hurting for weeks now, its slowly going down but I don't know what happen and I fear I may have thumb arthritis can you give me some guidance to what I have and ways to treat it

I have the CMC but also doctors say it also that the second joint just above it. Being sent to surgeon but have no idea how long that will take. Is there a way to diagnose the problem with the second joint i.e. the joint right above the CMC?

For the last 10 years I have gone to the Dr 3 times asking what & why questions regarding now both of my hands having daily pain from electric like grinding in the middle of my palms, bone spur on the thumb joint, nodules forming on fingers . And each time the findings from X-rays are arthritis? Ok now what ? It’s pain that interferes with my daily life as I am a physical 57 year old woman . Any suggestions on controlling my pain ?

I injured that joint pulling my hand out of a Ball Jar when cleaning it, three months and still not healed! only 80 percent better!
