📜 Story:
Join us as we capture an uncanny phenomenon on camera: the hair of unsuspecting tourists suddenly standing on end, serving as an eerie harbinger of an imminent thunderstorm. This unnerving reaction is a result of positive charges coursing through the human body, potentially triggering a lightning strike when they collide with the storm's negative charges. Shockingly, lightning claims more than 20 lives in the U.S. annually. It's crucial to act fast and find safe shelter immediately. When no safe haven is within reach, the safest response is to crouch low with your feet close together, providing an efficient path for the electrical current to course through without causing harm. Learn more about this natural electrical spectacle and discover survival tips in this compelling video.

Something like that happened to me as a child one day while I was playing with my elder brother on the rooftop of our house(in India). I was only 12 but my instincts told me something was terribly wrong. The sky was covered with grey clouds and we could see lightnings here and there. I immediately ran inside. God knows what could have happened that day.

It aggravates me to no end seeing those tourists smile and laugh when their hair is raising like that under dark, ominous clouds and not one of them *stops and thinks "There is so much static electricity in the air that it's causing my hair to raise. I think that this could be LIGHTNING about to happen."

Our skool systems are so busy with indoctrination and bullshit that they don't teach things that may save soneone's life one day.

*The only time I've seen this happen was in a mountain climbing video when one of the hikers grew concerned about the amount of static and buzzing in the air and gave notice. The other hikers continued to laugh and carry on like this was some sort of fun attraction. :-\

Theoretically, the lightning rods on the ship should still protect them. Me, I'm going inside in case someone stole or failed to secure the copper grounding wire.

most of the videos show women (longer hair) close to large bodies of water. this is where you most likely die by lightning strike, because you are the path of least electrical resistance over a VERY flat and large area.

Feel that, get indoors as fast as you can run, do not just stand there taking pictures on your phone, your life is at risk.

The hair on your arm also stands up. I'm terrified of lightning.

Once my brother told me that if my hair stands up, that means I’ll die and I finally found out why 😂

If your hair stands up, there will be lighting. Running will not help, there is no escape from being struck. You should try to conduct the lighting through you body so when you get hit, you don't die. What you do, is crouch as near to the ground as possible, but dont lie down. Make sure the only thing touching the ground is the balls of your feet because you want to make minimal contact with the ground. The ground may be struck and not you. Do NOT touch any conductors. That will make your chances of getting struck higher. Lastly, cover your ears so you don't get hearing loss from the thunder sound.

*tip: if you have any insulators like foam, fabric, plastic, put them under your feet to help prevent the flow of electricity.

EDIT: when i said the ball of your foot i mean the hard muscle part before your toes. Most dancers, or gymnasts know what this is, but if you don't go look it up.
