The new Nintendo Switch OLED features a seven inch OLED screen and a slimmer bezel compared to previous Switch models. In this video you can see a Nintendo Switch screen comparison between the base and OLED models, playing the same cinematic scene from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Nintendo Switch OLED model also has a wide adjustable stand. Take a look to see how the kickstands differ between the Nintendo Switch OLED and the Nintendo Switch base model.

The Nintendo Switch OLED Model releases on October 8, 2021, featuring onboard speakers with enhanced audio, 64 GB of internal storage. It also comes with a new dock, which includes an HDMI port for connecting to a TV, two USB ports, and a new wired LAN port.

This is basically what the switch should have been at launch

Finally, someone actually puts them side by side

The display is so much better when you see it with your own eyes, and fixes all the design problems, especially the kickstand, which was awful on the original. Essentially, it is still a Switch, but if you’re using it in handheld, the original doesn’t compare.

The switch oled is nice for people who don't own a switch, but almost pointless for people who already do. It’s a shame it's not a switch pro, but it's nice that it exists rather than not at all.

I'm impressed. At 0:35, you guys got the stand on the original switch to work

Going from the regular switch to the oled was significant for me, Legends Arceus looks fantastic

This has amazing production and the perfect showcase intro that makes me not want to skip skip skip.

Gotta admit the bigger screen is better to fill up the bezel space but they should have just did that from the start

The fact that Nintendo will still be manufacturing the V2 model is a little bizarre since the difference between that and this model isn’t all that big price or design wise

The colors on the oled is so satisfying

Upgrading from a Switch to a Switch oled is like upgrading from an iPhone 6 to iPhone 6 Plus

Switch oled should of just been what the switch origibal should of been

Although I’ve bought one;

This ‘upgrade’ as pointed out by others, is simply how it should’ve been released.
The kickstand, the memory (which is still pretty bad), not to mention that there’s still no upgrade to the actual performance of the machine itself.

Disappointed, but in hopes that they’re releasing a pro within the next 2 years.

impressive to see how the oled is a much better screen. for those who want to use the switch as a portable, its much better to have the oled. if you play on your big tv, then it dont matter.

The regular switch has a 6.2 inch hand held, and the Nintendo switch oled has a 7.0 inch portable hand held. $ 50 more U.S. dollars. It might be worth it for people looking for an upgrade
