Something I forgot to add in the video that some may find useful. Multi-window. Now that the recent apps button is gone, how do you open multi-window? If you watch the video, on the overview screen, you can see icons at the top of the cards. Long press the icon and it gives you the option to open split screen. Sorry about that!

Would prefer the virtual buttons taking up less space similar to iOS, no point in taking out the recent apps button and keeping the width of the band same.

I'm more and more glad that Samsung does its own thing with Android.

Some features Google are adding I actually like, but I'd like them a lot more if they were all optional. Android used to be about customization and options...

So Android P task manager is basically iOS task manager 🤔 why

i currently have it on my pixel 2 xl and it works great, i think this will be great year for android

Open apps tab is better when vertical, you can see more when vertical rather than just 3 when it's horizontal. Just seems like a pointless change really. I hope it's at least optional.

So what we're seeing is the iOS-ization of Android and the Android-ization of iOS...

The roledex home button seems redundant with being able to also scroll through the cards with a much bigger area to mess around with VS messing with a small home button slider..

Finally a video that acknowledges the lack of dashboard features in the beta! I spent a full hour looking for this and couldn't find it anywhere.

still no themes or night mode, which means the update is nothing special

No clear all button in multitasking UI?!

Oreo has better look. This P version of Android make my phone looks like a kid toy phone.

For the first time, I like third party Android versions better than stock Android. I just can't get on board with the look of Android P.

So did they take the close all button out and why would they do that

I definitely don't like the task manager though...
Would have been nice if there is a option to change it..

I'm still using gingerbread, no reason to update

With the new gestures how are you gonna jump back to your previous app? It was double tapping recent app button but now it is gone...

Running the beta on my Pixel 2 XL and really enjoying the experience. I have had some glitches, but nothing earth shattering. Just some apps closing or misbehaving. Seems pretty intuitive, and looking forward to future betas.

Don't really like the search bar and the apps on recents menu. Hopefully Google will remove it.
