Top 5 Beginner Tames YOU NEED in Ark in 2023!

If you are a new player in Ark this is the video for you! Today I talk about 5 of the best creatures you'll need to kickstart your ark journey!!

I'd say first tame a parasaur and gather narco berries then tame a low level trike then gather as much narco Berries as you can after that just simply make bola and stun a pteranodon and tame it they are actuality really easy to tame just controlling their torpor is hard (with narco berries) so you will need around 7-9 tranq arrows and 1-2 bola and like 30-40 narcotics

I'd say the Dilophosaurus, very early game I find them easier then Raptors and there easy to find a bunch of them aswell, I can't tell you how fun it was to mount my Parasaur and go on a hunting trip with my 5 to 10 mate boosted Dilos, I just whistle and they hunt, kill and harvest.

Ultimate start. Get two maewings on fjorder. Use the maewings to get andrewsarchus and snow owl. Use snow owl to make blood packs to get a breeding pair of desmodus using the andrewsarchus to assist in the taming. Use desmodus to get breeding pairs of everything else you want or need. It's perfect for pvp servers

Moschop is the biggest omission on the list. The earlier you get one of these, the better your start will be. They can gather almost anything you need early game: berries, fiber, thatch, wood, meat and hide and they are surprisingly tanky, being able to take on raptors fairly easy. Later on, they can help get more prime meat and polymer and their eggs make decent kibble. If you're a beach Bob and see one that just needs berries-- GO FOR IT! They can be an absolute clutch tame.

In my opinion it goes livestro parasour trike raptor then moschop, moschops are heavily underrated there great fiber gatherers there extremely easy to tame don’t require a saddle good for getting barry’s and you can level up what you want it to harvest so it gives you more of whatever your trying to get

Moschops is a maybe if you get lucky on the wants but it is a huge maybe

First 20 levels? Here's my 5. Ichthy thrown in with Otter because fish it catches will boost the Otter's taming.
- Ichthyornis lvl1; Early Prime Meat from Dodos! or Compys, Pegomastax, and Lystrosaurus anything small enough for it to pick up and attack on command (Server needs flyer carry enabled, ) Backpack, Fish for otter tame.
- Otter lvl 1; Fishing, Pearls, Insulation Scarf, Artifact carrier, Backpack, Egg temperature control incubator, air conditioner.
- Moschops lvl 1; Automatic Harvester, Fiber, Tank mount, Customizable harvester.
- Phiomia lvl5; Poop factory, Poison tank vs Swamps/Scorpions (High Torpor)
- Parasaur lvl9; Intruder Alarm, Tek Farm, Panic spook Alarm
- Equus lvl 10/20; You can tame them at 10, make a saddle at 20, Saddle doubles as Mobile Mortar/pestle, Lasso. Kick KO, Reduced carry weight, Good speed.

you should do the secondary rush attack with the trike. much faster for berries, thatch and a little bit of wood

Top 5 tames for begginers in my opinion are : stego, ankylo, doedicirus, argentavis, therizino

What these creatures do:
Therizino can farm fiber wood and tatch
Argentavis can pick up creatures
Ankylo can farm metal
Doedicirus can farm stone
Stego can farm berries

How are you tame a triceratops if they get on top of a large rock, and then just keep on shooting rocks into it until it goes unconscious

I say sinomacrops because it is a jetpack glider and keeps pegomastex and icthes away from you and just put chititin in the last slot and feed

Raptors are good, but packs of raptors are just W I L D, I once had the crazy idea of taming all raptors I was able to find on my path, at some point I had a pack of about 10 raptors that was following me, we encountered a rex and they took it down in a matter of seconds, mate boost made things worse for the poor rex xD

Am I doing something wrong? My raptors seem to suck at harvesting, like kill another raptor and get a whopping like 18 hide max from a raptor and like 20 meat max.

Im not going to lie, Dodos are in pretty good when they are lv 130 they have 500% Meele Damage when I tame them (or im lucky... Possibly.)

Watching random pro ark players and got myself on new games and tamed my very first raptor at lvl 8 😅 and got another 4 raptors by using my wooden home as trap + bola and club lol

Goofy ahh list (I respect it), if you play on the island only then these are my top 5 recommended tames in order for starters to mid game.
0.5(bonus)=parasaur, iguanodon
1=raptor because you could skip to it and a raptor is pretty much almost necessary to survive and it’s amazing even for mid game.
2=trike because you would need a berry harvester and also a good damaging creature, iguanodons and parasaur can be used but trikes are way better.
3=pteranodon for traveling/exploring. It also does amazing damage and pretty good.
4=argentavis because they are amazing for flying, damaging and weight!! They also reduce the weight of metal in their inventory!
4.5(bonus) anky because of their metal gathering abilities and an anky is a good duo with the argy for obvious reasons.
5=baryonyx because they are pretty much the perfect tame for the island. Their food is easy to get, their melee is amazing, good weight, good speed and it’s also good for underwater reasons. A bonus for 5 would be dire bear but barys are more reliable and they are tanky as heck. Carnotaurus is also a bonus but dire bear, as a bonus, is more recommended and obviously baryonyx.
