#Minimalism #Minimalist

In this video I talk about why I consider myself an existentialist, and why that's sort of a good thing.

Hey everyone. My name is Nick and here on my channel we talk about minimalism, and ways of living an intentional life. If you don't mind me talking your ear off once a week about this topics, and you liked this video, consider subscribing to the channel. See you next time

Cats are definitely the most existential of all pets, and yours definitely seems quite interested in it. 😻😂😁

This reminds me of a Mark Twain quote: _"In my life there were many tragedies, and some actually happened."_

And also this one by Stoic Epictetus: _“Seek not for events to happen as you wish but rather wish for events to happen as they do and your life will go smoothly.”_

Easier said than done. But I think you're on the right track here, by focusing on eliminating expectations + accepting that things might happen that you didn't plan/want. Still work in progress for me. I find that when money is tight (for example, if a big expense comes up), I can paint all kinds of doom scenarios in my head about how I'll be broke soon etc. So then it helps me to exercise and slow down, try to see the bigger picture, and if all else fails: just go to bed, tomorrow is another day!

Interesting to see a bit of philosophy on your channel, I definitely resonate with quite a bit of what you've said here. And plants! Glad to see the plants. I'm a minimalist, but I can't have enough plants haha

That's an interesting point of view. I personally wanted really bad a career but as I grow older and reach my 30' I am starting to appreciate more working to create passive incomes and get financial freedom asap in life to spend the time that you have how you really want to.

At the end of the day, our time is limited here. When you realize this, excessive money over what makes you comfortable lose a lot of value.

I like your new color grading. And have you gotten a new mic? I'm not sure I agree totally with the idea of not letting other people tell you what to do - there are circumstances in which it is important to listen to others and follow their lead for the greater good, but I mostly like the message. Other than the imagery of a cookie with the words "unplanned or unwanted." It is a COOKIE for goodness' sake!
