i might have said this during a stream, but my grandmother had a farm and the duck pond had a lot of frogs in it. they'd sing all night and it was so calming, i always associate those cool summer nights listening to the frogs with farmcore and nostalgia. so if you want an excuse to have a frog, a small pond or even an overgrown area would be perfect and, at least to me, it fits perfectly!

I personally think Fall is the perfect time to save a farmcore island for, it works so well with the browns, yellows and reds. And the fall is good harvesting time for crops.

P.S. I think you are required by law to at least have one frog on the island, I'm thinking either Jeremiah or Lily.

I’m still really hoping you will end up keeping Katt! She’s literally the perfect barn cat - barn cats are typically kind of feral and not cuddly, and Katt’s colours and teeth are perfect for a feral barn cat!

I’ve been stumped on how to start my citycore island for ages, and honestly i just need to plan my island like this, thank you for the inspo! PS, farmcore wouldn’t be complete without a chicken villager!

for those four extra villager houses;
- one for the flower farm
- one for the orchard
- one running the campsite
- one being in charge of the fishing spot (pond/lake)

just some ideas!! i hope these help, i think it would be way cuter to integrate your extra villagers as owners to these areas that don’t fit into the semicircle! ♡

I believe Papi is based off of the African okapi, so even though he is a horse villager, I wouldn't really consider him farm-core, maybe for a jungle-core island he'd be a great pick!

I agree with what others have said about having a frog if you want one. I grew up in the country and frogs are definitely a part of that! 💚
