it's a shame we don't get different user modes, where the mode for each driver includes steering, suspension, power and spotify playlist. when our son passes his driving license i'd like to have a mode for him where the speed limit enforcement was set and the entire acceleration policy set to make it hard to get to those limits. he wouldn't be allowed a sport boost mode either

It's really great that you go through the various applications of the car as the instruction manual would take months for me to read as the information there is so jam-packed with instructions that one (or rather I ) lose track of what was being informed 2 pages previously. Your videos have been an enormous help.
By the way I do hope that you keep yr iX1 rather than ditching it for the Fisker Ocean (personally I wouldn't dare buying one as the garages and dealers are pretty thin on the ground here in Scandinavia, and I would be extremely suspicious of the support available should anything go wrong. For all its faults BMW (Adaptive LED problems) is in a completey different league where that is concerned.

Waiting for my X1 storm bay grey to arrive. Got the 28i since in Canada, only option. Wonder if the efficient mode also ease off the accelerator as well. Like do it make the acceleration more gentle with same amount of depth u step on the accelerator? I remember x5 do have that. If so, also wish it can be set as start mode as well, which is great for just between home and workplace. Great vid, time to sub since I already watched like 5 of ur vids lol.

Hi. Great video again. So, in some modes you can select to activate/deactivate the seat massage. Does the massage start automatic in the others ??

Hi, I have the 18i M sport and some days ago the lock/unlock lights pattern was different than I have now…not sure why is that and if I did this in the settings? Do you know how/where to check this?

can you change the layout of the instrument cluster in different modes? or is it locked to the mode-specific one (e.g. in Expressive, can you change it to the "sporty" cluster)? Also, how's the ambient light situation in the rear? Only in the door handles, or the foot area as well?

what about my personal color? if I want to have purple in sport mode can I have it? or does the car always overwrite your personal color every time you change the mode? because if it does what's the point of letting you choose in the settings the color of ambient lighting?
