This is so helpful! I have a potato for a PC and some of the "newer" methods take away from my ability to record lag free and I have to play super laggy or lower bitrates but this seems to really allow me to keep both quality and performance so thank you for this. For everyone asking what it looks like streaming, it doesn't really mess with anything. Twitch and Youtube both seem to add black bars to fit the stream into their default compression resolution. Not sure if you can set it up any other way, but it seems to still be watchable using these setting while livestreaming.

This is actually a genius method. I was originally thinking to use two recording programs. Your method would save the hit to the performance on pc AND save a little on the file sizes.
