Well that was excellent, thank you. But what happens when the audio is lagging behind the video by a split second? That's what's happened with my Emeet webcam. Just wondering if things need adjusting or if it's possible to use the laptop audio (or external mics) in sync with the webcam video, and if so how? 🤔

Ken - great video; however, I ran into a problem. I have the C920 webcam just as you do. When I recorded a video, , as you did in the video, I went to the Camera Roll folder in Pictures, but NOTHING was there. Did I miss something? Is there a Save function in the Camera app I missed???

Ken, have you noticed that the camera app in Windows 11 only records 1 second of video now. I saw a work-around on Reddit that recommended pressing record and then pausing record after about three seconds. When you turn off pause the app will record as it should then right before you end recording press pause again and then end the recording session. This works. Why can't Microsoft figure this out. I've seen posts going back two years where people complained of this exact problem. I'm running Windows 11, 22H2 (OS Build 22621.2428) and using a Canon DSLR as my webcam. This combo has always worked in the past. The problems began a week ago. I thought the latest update (today, Oct 10, 2023) might fix it, but no. Do you have any insight on this issue?

Weird but it seems the time lapse feature that used to be in the camera app in Windows 10 is gone in Windows 11. Can you recommend an app for that which is free to use for non-commercial?

It’s unfortunate no setting to mirror the camera as you can do with mobile devices where what you see before you take photo/video is the same as after the photo is taken. My Surface Laptop 4 built in cam doesn’t have a setting so inverts the picture after taken.

Man you are a genius. I bought a C920E webcam and tried to record videos with it. Looked for all options on the Internet, free (???) recording software in the end not free, Logitec Capture, Logitec G Hub, and although I use it very frequently Microsoft camera application, I did not know it was possible to connect an other webcam to it. You saved my neck. I am pretty sure that a great deal of people should watch you video and in doing so would save a lot of time. Free and easy solution. Thanks a lot.
