Not just strawberries it's a general rule of thumb for fruiting plants especially good for nightshades like peppers I just stop doing it to my bell pepper

If you have a pet rabbit or bird, wash off the flowers and give them to your bunny or bird as a treat; OR drop them into a salad and eat them yourself. Yum!

Also, when your strawberry plant produces tendrils, plant the end of them without removing it from the plant, and you'll have a second strawberry plant.

I've never planted anything before, this year I've planted everything, lol, the strawberries look just like yours and I'm way too scared to kill them if I pick off anything or the wrong thing.

To encourage lots of blooms you should pluck off all flower buds the first season after planting. The opposite for asparagus, leave them alone the first year . I've heard some people say to leave asparagus alone for up to 3 years to get good fat stalks.

Are you able to overwinter your strawberries in those containers? Using some thig year and wasn't sure if I'll have to replant next year

My first yr plantings of Everbearing strawberry plants all flowers are kept off the plants. I end up with vigorous plants the next yr a abundance of strawberry's. I started out with 25 bare root plants. I now have 300. Strawberry's are easy to grow if planted right.
