The 2024 Tesla Model 3 RWD Might Be the BEST Value Car You Can Buy!

I just bought the 2024 Tesla Model 3 rwd and in this video I want to share why. Not only was it cheaper than expected but the sheer amount of features you get in the base model makes it really stand out against the competition.

I test drove the Hyundai Ionic, the Kona, the VW ID4, the Toyota Prius Prime, but the Tesla Model 3 stood head and shoulders above the pack. So in this video I'm going to share a few of my favourite features included (in the base model) of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 highland edition and why you too might want to consider one for yourself.

Remember, incentives won't always be around, so if you are curious about getting a new car now be sure to take advantage of all the rebates you can before they are gone!

Also, thanks if you are able to thumbs up the video that really helps grow the channel. 👊

Wow, the LFP standard range is no longer offered... crazy! I think points in the video still stand but in Canada anyway the new base model doesn't qualify for as many rebates which is a bummer. Still a great car but the new price changes things. Will make an update video soon.

This is a no brainer. I tested the new Cadillac Lyriq and Tesla Model Y. Cadillac was clean, no gaps, plus automatic roof shade. Overall, hands down, Tesla because of it’s advanced technology.

I got my Model RWD in June of 2023. Just about 20, 000 miles in and all is good.

I believe your 2024 Model 3 RWD has the LFP batteries. Just charge it to 100% all the time. That battery package works differently than the other battery options.

You are right, people under estimate how much you get with a base trim Model 3.

I get 260 miles of range on a charge. When I first got my Model 3, it showed 272 miles of range.

There has been some recent reports showing the batteries in the Model 3 are lasting longer than first estimated. It seems like 300, 000 miles would be the least to expect. 500, 000 is what should be doable.

If you have not set your vehiclevto Chill Mode, do it. The tires and vehicle in general will last longer if you use that.

This was great! I rate your reviews very much, so pretty cool to see you landing such a hefty review here!

Congrats man! I think if you're going with an EV, Tesla is definitely the best one, by quite some margin. I'm totally with you on the 1 vehicle for longer travel and a Tesla for day to day, best of both worlds! -- wish this worked in London where there's barely enough space for 1 vehicle 😂

I own a 2019 Model 3 Performance (bought in 2019) with nearly 83, 000 miles on the od. Have driven across from CA to GA three times over those years. It's also literally a daily driver. Besides tires, I've spent $180 in maintenance - air filters (which I need to change again) and at around 65k my rear camera faulted and was replaced. Both times Tesla service came to my residence to fix.

It's the most reliable car I've owned and first EV I've owned. I'll never go back to a gas vehicle. I have some small gripes but overall it's the most reliable, cost efficient and ease of use vehicle I've ever owned. I'll certainly cross shop other brands when and if I need a new car but I'd certainly buy another one without hesitation.

Yep. I had the same experience. I tested a lot of EVs before I tested the Model 3. It just blew the others away. Once I'd driven it, the choice was obvious. I got my Highland RWD in June this year.

Here in the UK, we pay a lot more for our cars sadly. But, it still represents great value compared to other vehicles, especially ICE cars like the BMW 3 Series. Mine was just over £40k, or $55k for the base RWD with blue metallic (i.e. not the long range RWD - Tesla don't even sell that in the UK). I lease it, and do get tax breaks on the lease, which makes it way way more affordable.

I am paying around 1.4p per mile to drive it (less than 2 cents), thanks to cheap overnight charging at home (7p/kWh, or 9.4 cents). That works out as less than 10% of what I was paying to run my previous gasoline BMW thanks to insane UK gas prices of about $6.85 per US gallon.

Took a litttle getting used to the indicator buttons, it's fine now

Nice video 🎉 BTW, with the LFP battery version, you actually need to charge it to 100% regularly to keep the battery healthy.

As for road trips, living in the UK means they are obviously limited compared to the distances you can cover in the US. However, I drove my 2024 M3RWD over 1, 000 miles in a week driving from near Manchester to northern Scotland, then around the Scottish highlands for a week before coming home again.

The Tesla Supercharger network was great on the trip up and down, and local (although slower) chargers in remote Scottish villages kept me topped up when away from the Tesla locations. Every village I came across had chargers, and they were reasonably priced. I only ended up needing to make one partial charge the whole week on a non-Tesla charger.

Even in my base RWD, I had no range anxiety. The car was superb over the Scottish mountain roads, and made the near 400 mile freeway trips north and then south again very relaxing. I had to make two brief charging stops on those drives, which was fine by me, I needed breaks more than the car.

However, an LR version would have done it with either one or no stops. So, I would definitely be the rate limiting factor, not the car.

I orders my 2018 M3 LR IN 2016. I spent nothing on the car after 140, 000km I added FSD, I will never sell it as it will because an investment when robotaxi is made available which I will let it make me money. All and every other car are all a depreciating affair but not as much as a Tesla as it’s updated all the time over the internet and nobody does it that way.

Great decision, but I would have eaten the donut first. 😁

Honestly, I don't like the steering wheel setup. I still prefer the old and the new to be mixed together.

Get the fun car, then get the donut.

....Yes, yes, I will.

got mine march 23 after 6 months mileage is 1100 miles. practically brand new. tip: dont use rain-x or any other coating on your windshield. your wipers will stutter. you can use any coating on the windows but not the windshield.also tesla recommends to charge your lfp battery to 100% every week to calibrate the battery monitoring system. unlike the lithium ions which can only be charged to 80%.
