In Sweden we affectionately call moose "Skogens Konung" (eng: "the king of the forest"). Unbeknownst to many, these large herbivores are actually part of the deer family and are found in the northern hemisphere in countries like Sweden, Canada and Russia. In this video series, we visualize the vital zones of wild game to help educate hunters.

Hitting the tricep about 2/3rds of the distance from the shoulder to the anterior edge of the body seems to be a good rule of thumb for most mammals.

Probably makes some sort of evolutionary sense, keeping the heart tucked behind the forelimbs just in case.
