MN prison commissioner's wife charged with attempted murder

Julie Louise Myhre-Schnell, 64, is facing a charge of premeditated first-degree attempted murder for allegedly putting anxiety medication in her son's feeding bag in hopes that he would "go to sleep forever," according to court records.

When was the last time she went on vacation without her son to take care of? She looks like she snapped. Being a forever caretaker is not for the faint of heart. How much was her husband helping out? Did she have any help at all? How did their son typically behave? Taking care of an adult is physically and mentally challenging. Changing a baby's diapers is not the same as changing an adult's. You have no idea what it's like until you experience it yourself.
