Actually, the internet seems to be better than in many built-up areas or it is around where I live.. I can get 1000mbs speeds at a Ping/latency of 8ms and I live rural... yet in most towns around here is like 100mbs ish but latency generally is 30+ or a lot worse.... I find it very interesting because it used to be that we were yrs behind but we are now well ahead... I was jealous when everyone had broadband and we still had dial-up for years

Did you manage to use it when away in the camper van? Just come back from scotland in the caravan and no phone or Internet killed me 😂 having to drive 5 miles to send a text im thinking starlink would have saved my bacon

Nice one. I'm thinking about it but I'm in a city location with just two balconies to work with (one east facing and the other west facing) so not sure if that would work.

So you pay £319 for that device and them £75 a month for internet? Did saw on their website, that's waay to expensive

When it comes to internet the UK is or can be as bad as a third world country! I mean come on. I came to the UK in 2002 and left at the time a cable internet connection in the outskirts of Lisbon of 100Mbps! In the uk I came to see the old fashion dial up! Today, 21 years on and the best I can get on a not so small town is 30Mbps FTTC. It's just absolutely horrible.
