Great video Justin. I'd like to note one thing about about the collections that the feature updates are deployed to in stages. It can be a good idea to have different devices in your pilot and early adopters groups for the feature update and your monthly patching testing. This is because those users would then be on a different version of Windows 10 and getting different updates, so for the period of time your testing the new version of Windows 10 you'll no longer be properly testing the monthly patches for the old version of Windows 10.

Thank you very much, Justin, the video was very informative and saved me a lot of time; especially deciding the upgrade method.

Another reason of not using Windows Servicing is that after the upgrade, all previously disabled Windows Apps are re-installed. Using TS helps in getting rid of them during the upgrade process itself.

Hi Justin, thank you for the great videos. Wanted to ask for your recommendation as to how OS updates (builds) can be successfully pushed to
remote workstations not connected to the agency’s network? Over VPN that would be inefficient and time consuming due to bandwith. Do you use Cloud managament gateway? What would you recommend in that case if company already has SCCM. Thank you!

Hi Justin,
Great video and very informative. Thank you.
You've mentioned at the end of the video about Windows 7 to 10 in place upgrade TS video. I couldn't find it in your uploads. Do you mind pointing it out?

And is it better to use SCCM TS wizard or WDT to create task sequence?

Hi Justin, great video! I've got a question about windows 10 servicing. If an organisation were to utilize the windows 10 servicing feature, what are the draw backs? is anything lost in terms of customization which may of been deployed during the task sequence built such as windows 10 menu layout things like that?
Also does the later builds of windows 10 bypass the security code for bitlocker? or is this why you would opt to use a task sequence?

Thanks
Lee

Hey ! Great video man !
Just wanted to ask if this works in this scenario :
I have 100's of VMs with 2012 R2 OS and wanted to migrate them to 2016 with all the settings and configuration to be same. (in place upgrade)
Can I do that without human interaction ? Does Task sequence do in place upgrade ?
Thank you !

Hi Justin,
I have question. Do I need to stay connected to network once the upgrade process begins in case update feature upgrade.

Actually my requirement is for those users who can be offline during upgrade. Thanks.

Have you noticed 1803 has a 1803 and 1803 x64 feature update? Problem being they are both showing as available to x64 machines, Since they added the x64 (released 9/27/18) version 90% fail as they are trying to install both

Shouldn't I be able to install 1803 on all my machines?? Is there a reason a previous build like 1607 or 1709 do not get the 1803 update?
