Driving Lesson In The City Dealing With Multiple Hazards | Mock Driving Test

This is Aanya, she’s been learning to drive with me from a complete beginner. She’s done around 22 hours of driving in total.

In todays lesson we were working on dealing with hazards on busy roads around the city. She’s driven on a variety of roads but struggles with multiple hazards on city roads.
In the first part of todays lesson I was talking through how to deal with busy roads and then later she was doing things on her own as if it was a mock test.
Mostly she does well but when theres a lot happening together she got into abit of trouble with road markings and forward planning.

This video is filmed during a driving lesson. It is filmed for educational purposes.

Throughout the video there are highlights to show how you should be driving safely.

I hope this video will be useful! :)

Well done both, good teaching and quite a lots of hazards though, but the student dealt with those difficult situations well.

Great teaching! You are so calm on challenging roads. Also, didn't realise how much talking is involved! You must drink gallons of water

This is exactly what I want to do, more busy roads with different situations. Straight up roads near houses or small town centers ain't cutting it.

Really enjoyed the video. I don’t live in London. I was wondering what the cycle sign with a letter/number beneath it mean near the junctions? Thank you for all the videos. Very useful. Excellent teaching methods.

@27:07 I thought that she had noticed the right turn arrow as well as no entry sign, since she had the intention to steel right. But I do not object or appeal Aman 's decision 🤣🤣

5:15, shouldn’t she have stopped as there were people approaching the crossing? I don’t know for sure so just checking !

I really enjoyed the video and I've learnt a lot as well. Aman very good instructor. By the way, where did you you have the lesson... Which part of London? I guess it's one of those Elite or rich residential areas and the student is from rich family.

Sorry to bother you again with this question, which I asked previously after watching another student of yours.

Take a look at 15:09. I don't know where her right hand is, but her left hand is clearly grabbing almost the top of the steering wheel, definitely neither 9 nor 10 position. Are you sure that's right and doesn't warrant a correction? And that happens several times throughout the video. Also, it does seem to me she is seating way to close to the steering wheel, and I don't mean when you ask her to lean forward at the junction, I'm talking about her normal seating position. If you look at her arm, it's almost completely flexed, which might be one of the reasons why she is grabbing the wheel so high. It could be very dangerous (even more than it usually is) if the airbag ever deploys.

Edit: Maybe it's not the seat position what she must adjust, but the steering wheel column, but something definitely seems off.

What is your handbrake like in your car? Seems like she sits on the foot brake a lot when waiting and that's why the roll backs are occuring

I noticed when she was turning right, she had her clutch down in second gear isn’t that coasting?
