Hey Brian! Really appreciate the video and I'm eager to check out the others. Do you have any recommendations on camera setting when using a teleprompter? I noticed that as soon as I attached my new teleprompter my camera image got darker, almost like I added an ND filter. Any tips would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Brian, would you recommend shooting auto ISO for talking head videos? 😊

Is SS, the shutter speed? I don't know how to use that. I have my video settings in auto and it's so confusing. I have a lumix cam. My videos are crisp if the stage has enough lighting and outdoor videos are great. If the stage doesn't have enough light, the video and the subjects are so dark so I can't use the footage. I take indoor videos for shows. Sometimes, the settings are so confusing since there are so many settings on the camera and I'm a newbie.

Thanks Rob just subbed. This helped me out since I am new to shooting. So even though the base iso is 800 for S-log I can still raise the iso up to a 1000 or more to brighten up the image? I keep seeing people talk about the dual base iso being 800/2500 but that doesn’t mean you can only use those two ISO’s correct? You can still use 1000/16000 and so until you begin to introduce noise which at the point you either need more light or reduce the iso? Please correct me if I’m wrong thanks
