Adding an iSCSI into VMware ESXi 7.0, so I can take advantage of this Synology DS118 storage disk and run some virtual machines. Next project, will be upgrading the current Synology disk station to have more disk with SSD.

Taking advantage of the DS118 from @synology to create an iSCSI datastore on my ESXi server. I will upgrade the diskstation model with one that can hold more hard drives because this one can't be configured with a RAID configuration. The DS118 only has one hard drive. 😒

Thanks, It was crystal clear, this was the only video which shows standalone Esxi host, all the other examples are using a VCENTER interface and its so confusing ..
