In this video, we will create a new VMkernel adapter and new Standard vSwitch and map that to a vmnic to access the storage network. We'll create and configure the iSCSI storage adapter and connect to the iSCSI storage setup in a previous video.

You just helped me finish the piece of the puzzle I was looking for. I had set up a new Nimble array in our environment that I have taken over from a previous person who retired, and had adjusted everything (or so I thought) for addressing, but my hosts nor vCenter could see the available LUNs. I now know thanks to you that you need to go to the ISCSI adapter and add the discovery IP of the new array for them to see each other. I was getting a little desperate as I matched everything from our existing Nimble array (minus what are supposed to be unique IPs of course) and was wondering why the Hosts wouldn't see the LUNs.
Thanks!
PS: had I grouped the new array to the existing array (making the existing the primary) before setting in the discovery IP of the new array, would it then have worked as the logical grouping of the two would allow the Hosts to see the new LUNs since the original array was already linked to the Hosts?
