Fire Knight Greatsword Build guide |Elden ring

Today I will show you guys my build guide to the Fireknight Greatsword this is my first time doing something like this so please give me some good criticism if I did miss anything or if I made a mistake I will try my best to fix it
but honestly, I enjoy the Fire Knight greatsword, which is a powerful weapon in the game. I hope you enjoy this little build guide.

Hey there everyone So I want everyone to know that in this video I was showing my build and what i used for the fire sword and I did make mistakes with the build. I will try to do better next time and I will put more research into the next build guide I do and I’m still new to doing these so I apologize

For my own Fire Knight build, I run Fire Knight Armor, Fire Knight Helmet, Fire Prelate Gauntlets, and Hoslow Greaves. My Physick has the oil tear and fire cracked tear. For weapons I run Flame Art Fire Knight Greatsword with Fire Spear, Flame Art Fire Knight Shortsword (dagger) with Endure (to combo into Messmer's Orb), Flame Art Dryleaf Wraps with Palm Blast, Fire Knight Seal, Staff of the Guilty, and the Frenzied Flame Perfume with Rolling Sparks. My talismans are the Blessed Blue Dew Talisman, Flamedrake Talisman +3, Pearldrake Talisman +3, and Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman.

My spells are as followed...

Golden Vow
Protection of the Erdtree
Blessing of the Erdtree
Lord's Heal
Blackflame Ritual
Fire Serpent
Messmer's Orb
Flame Cleanse Me
Impenetrable Thorns

I'm level 200 with these stats

60 Vigor
35 Mind
50 Endurance
22 Strength
20 Dexterity
12 Intelligence
70 Faith
10 Arcane

Awesome build, it’s crazy how similar our builds are. My dexterity is a bit higher and I don’t think I’m as high a level as you are and my AR two handing is about 1900 and over 2000 with the flame buff. It’s absolutely insane. Brilliant faith build and absolutely FUN to play.

Rotten wing on collosal isnt that great bro

I will switch the Rotten wing to Bullgoat
because passing 51 poise is a game changer
also switch the Fire Knight Gauntlets to Rakshasa Gauntlets
It has a better poise, a bit more damage, and still looks good pair to the Fire Knight Armor

This is a pretty solid build. What I would do instead of Winged Sword is run Bullgoat for more Pose. Since this is a Colossal Sword, it's hard to get consistent attacks off, especially when you do a lot of pose damage.

It's also good that you went Strength/Faith l, as Fire damage not only scales with Faith, but also scales with Strength.

For level 200, I would go around the lines of 60 Vigor, 40 Faith, 60 Strength, 25 Endurance, 30 Mind.

For farming it’s better to go from the 7th floor grace as there are 3 more fire knights available all very close to one with a great sword. This will allow you to farm armour and a decent amount of ruins.

I'm using a similar build. You should wear the Winged Serpent Helm as it Enhances Fire Knight skills. Also the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear + Oil-Soaked Tear (new to the DLC) is a great Wondrous Physick option for enhancing fire damage.

For talismans there is also Godfrey's Icon for flame spear. Also Two Handed Sword Talisman, only scales light and heavy attacks though.

There is a fire knights seal too. Along with winged helm + oil physick others have already mentioned.

You ca. replace rotten wing with Godfrey icon. You can charge the flame spear weapon art and Godfrey increase damage by a lot. If you use flame skewer weapon art instead you can use 2hand talisman instead of Godfrey

Iinstead of the winged sword insignia i use the godfrey icon to boost the charge of the skill. I like flame spear more myself, i like having a bit of a range attack.

Use the winged serpent helm it buffed flame spear and flame skewer by 10%

i recommend using the two handed talisman instead of the rotten wing

The 2hand talisman would give better overall dmg than rotten but very fun build it slaps

The rotten wing talisman boosts the power of SUCCESSIVE attacks, not SUCCESSFUL. What this means is that your second hit (in a row) will do more than your first, and your third will do more than your second.

This is a bad option for this build because the weapon you’re using is too slow to capitalize on the buff that rotten wing gives you. Personally I’d swap it out for the two handed sword talisman because it offers a flat 15% buff to every attack you do IF you’re holding your weapon with two hands. This is also a very good reason to run a heavy infusion rather than flame art because you’ll get a buff to your strength when you two hand any weapon.

Lastly I highly HIGHLY recommend to NOT use any of the scorpion charm talismans for the dlc because the damage buff you’ll get from them is not worth the damage negation nerf, enemies simply do too much damage. I’d replace it with something of your choosing, personally I use the two headed turtle talisman on every build for an enormous 25% stamina regeneration buff. Hope this helps!!
