Was JFK shot from a sewer? #917

There is a theory that President John F Kennedy may have been shot from a sewer on Elm Street in Dealey Plaza. In this video we try to figure out if the theory is plausible. Would it have been possible? Lets see what the view would be from inside the sewer...

After 60 years of road resurfacing - asphalt has made the gutter opening much smaller. This actual storm drain's conduit was 'said to have been completely dug up and rebuilt' sometime around 1970. There are some great 'Getty' images of two very large storm drain grates (side by side) near the picket fence also however. Great post.

I have for years now believed this was where the third shot came from. Shooter could have stayed in there till early hours of Saturday morning and just walked away. This theory is far too easily dissmissed.

The storm drain has been updated since half a century ago, when it was a larger opening, lower earlier asphalt pavement as well. Ive read there was a white slash painted on the curb there too. In the Zapruder film original, it shows the limo slow to almost stop just before the drain, then speeds off. Two men were reported seen exiting the end of the storm drain system at the river later.

There was a young 18-19 yr old kid that had started a job at a car dealership two weeks prior. That fay he called in sick. But just right after the assassination, he showed up to work. He was sweating and full of mud. They thought it was weird of him to show up like that, so they called the police. They took him in for investigation, but released him right after.

There’s no doubt in my mind the fatal headshot came from this location on the drain! This explains why Lee Bowers was the first to die!

Makes good sense. And its said that there is some tunnel from the manhole + sewer leading rainwater to Trinity river near by. This tunnel is narrow but still wide enough for a person servicing it. Great you bring it up as its a detail not often mentioned in most documentals.

I think a good report would've had you stand on the X and look back at the sewer PLUS lift the manhole cover and point back at the X with someone (your partner) standing (crouching slightly) on it (to determine whether or not there was an angle available), but t'was a decent "report" nonetheless. 100% this is where the kill shot came from. I also think I’ve seen that the sewer was different on the inside during that time. It was more open with a decent escape route.

A number of years ago I watched an approx 3 1/2 hr video on YT of a convict(I wish I could remember his name) who spoke in uninterrupted detail that he was the 20 year old hitman for the mafia who fired the fatal bullet from the sewer. He knew and remembered names, didn't stutter and claimed his orders came from Giancarni at the top, filtered down without knowing the exact chain as just a hired assassin who was ordered to shoot if the succeeding shots failed to kill. That was the case, which led to his act to carry out the plan. I can't find this online anymore, as so many other crucial pieces of possibly incriminating information. I hope I can somehow track it down again. It was theost compelling interview I had ever seen.

Photographic evidence indicates that this is the most likely source of the fatal head shot. A short, skinny guy could easily hide and wait in there. And a 25-yard shot would be super-easy for someone with a short-barrel rifle and periscope sight as long as he was radioed a countdown from an outside observer.

He was almost lifted out of his seat. The sewer makes sense. Sitting in a 63 lincoln, he would have been visable from about the shoulder up from down in the sewer.

Oswald didnt even take a shot that day because if he did, he would have take a far easier shot as the motorcade came right down houston, toward the school book depository. The shots he supposedly took on elm, the motorcade was going away from him.

I read in a book that John Roselli said he made the shot. I still want to see if the sewer is in line to hit Kennedy where he was sitting in the limo. Some have said its too low. We need a straight line from the sewer to where his head would be seen over the door. Also, didnt the driver slow down in that area after the first shot?

There's also a storm drain up the hill where the fence meets the overpass. At the time of the assassination, it was in front of the fence. Sometime later, the fence was moved in front of it where it can be seen today. Perfect shot when it was on the other side of the fence.

Back in 1963 the sewer or storm drain was completely different. The pavement wasn’t so high. It’s been repaved many times since then so you could actually stand up in the sewer or storm drain and could shoot out of the storm drain grate that was on the curb. that is definitely where the killshot came from that blew out the back of his head because for the back of his head to blow out, the shot had to come from the front, and Carlos Marcellus was the one who orchestrated the assassination from the Louisiana mob. not sure if I spelled his name, right

It is a storm drain and was very likely accessible through and underground network. If so, the shooter would not have had to crawl inside from the street.

Never heard anything about 2 shooters in the Tsbd . Oswalds only job was to be seen in the lunch room and found in the theater
