I am from Ukraine. There was an older woman in my grandma's village. She was sent to Siberia. Imagine, how far it is from Ukraine and how cold it is there - even experienced recidivists died trying to escape. That woman walked!!! along the railroad - back to Ukraine, home... They arrested her and sent her back. She returned one more time. Everyone was so astonished that they let her be... Unbelievable. Slava Ukraini!!! 💔💛💙

I saw this on the news and she is both inspiring for her determination but so sad that she has to go through another war... also, they didnt show a really cute moment in the interview when a soldier ask how old she is and she cheekily answers 18 and laughs. So adorable!
