Derivatives and Integrals of Hyperbolic Functions

This video gives some basic derivatives and integrals of hyperbolic functions and even proves that the derivative of sinh x is cosh x using the e-definitions of sinh and cosh. Next, we work some derivatives using hyperbolic functions along with other more familiar functions and the chain and product rules.

We then move on to integration with three hyperbolic integrals involving u-substitution. The third integral is the integral of tanh x, which is found by rewriting it as sinh x / cosh x.
