With a few simple steps, you can connect your iOS or Android phone to your HDS or Elite Ti2 display. This feature allows you to see who's calling, as well as receive text messages. With Android phones, you can even return text messages with pre-programmed or custom messages.

This is all good until you shut the unit down. Then you have to go through the whole Bluetooth pairing process again when you start the unit again. I used the feature once.

Hi Jacob appreciate your videos. I have an HDS9 live display on a NMEA 2000 network. I would like to add a 12" or 16" display at the rear helm. The HDS 12/16 LIve prices are killing me. Do I have any other options display wise? I tried using a tablet interface with bluetooth, but I don't like it and want a mounted wired compatible display. TIA

I’ve mirrored my iPad to my HDS Live. My question is, if I make a split screen on the Lowrance unit of map and sonar. Can I make it put the map on the iPad and the sonar page on the Lowrance unit? Basically left page on the screen send that to the iPad and the right screen keep it on Lowrance ?

Is there a video on setting up that custom split screen as you have it on your unit? The splitting of the sidescan to display either side of the DS/Sonar? I have an Elite 7 Ti2. Thanks!

I’m an iPhone user…the lack of ability and favoritism towards android makes me want to do away with my Lowrance.
