Unreal Engine 4 C++ Tutorial : Getting Started

This is the first part of an Unreal Engine 4 and C++ tutorial. In this one I will explain how to get started with Unreal Engine 4 and Visual Studio 2017 and I will show you some basic programming tasks like logging.

I will use an actor base class and add it to the level, then I explain datatypes of unreal engine like FString and macros like UE_LOG and TEXT.

It would be helpful if you either put a link the next video in the series in the description or created a playlist of your UE tutorials. Your videos list is quite large and UE videos are scattered throughout. I was only able to find more by doing a search. Also your series videos are not numbered, which makes it impossible to find the next one even if it does appear in the 'up next' sidebar. You'd probably get more views. Some people want to see your next video but can't find it easily. Some want to skip this video because its not what they need, but they like your style.

Great video though. Very helpful for getting oriented in the engine. Very strait to the point without a bunch of pointless blather or attempts at bad jokes.
