3:28 at least nowadays you don't have to include any file search path before and including 'classes', so you could just have #include "kismet/gameplaystatics.h" instead

this was really helpful as everything ive found was blueprints. but how would you do it for another class other than the character.

I hope you answer. I am still confused on Casting. As you and others have told me it’s converting a variables type, right? If that’s the case why did we cast a AThirdPersonCharacter to AThirdPersonCharacter. Shouldn’t the variable just have access to the GetPlayerCharacter() Bc it’s a function of the AThirdPersonCharacter class?

I feel like this tutorial was more of a steps taken rather than a tutorial with explanations on each step. I was a bit lost after the casting section to be honest.
