Interventional Radiology is often thought of as a field that provides “curative” treatment rather than palliative care. We often get consulted to “fix” a problem such as an acute bleed or a stroke, but not often enough for palliative purposes such as managing pain or oncologic processes. Dr. Zachary Bercu, an interventional radiologist at Emory, and Dr. Sivan Ben-Moshe, a geriatrics and palliative care specialist at Emory, will be talking about IR's current role in palliative care and how we can do more to help.

Original Presentation Date: 10/14/21
Featuring Dr. Zachary Bercu (interventional radiology, Emory) and Dr. Sivan Ben-Moshe (geriatrics/palliative care, Emory)
Moderated/Organized by Celina Hsieh (MS4)
