As interventional radiologists are commonly involved in the care of critically ill patients, it is important to understand the concept of futile versus palliative procedures in order to optimize patient care. While the definition of "futility" remains difficult to establish, this webinar will provide a framework and some tools for clinicians to consider when approaching these types of patient care scenarios.
