Thanks for this video. I bought the AI Pin and agree with everything you said. Humane just released version 1.2 of the pin's OS, adding reminders, alarms, calendar, translation in own voice, and longer battery life. More features are on the road map. The AI Pin is unique and very useful.

Interesting take, but remember these “Tech Reviewers” can only review what a device is when it arrives not what it will be. You are right Marquess title seemed very hyperbolic especially compared to DOA megaflops like the Surface Duo, Crypto Phone, Nexus Q, and Google Clip. I agree the Internet hate machine on this thing is a little ridiculous. People posting copy paste “This is a SCAM” or “My phone in 2014 could do all of this” comments are not constructive. They obviously can’t see the vision that Humane has and the use case for a lot of people that aren’t them. The campaign of hate on the internet can be a little much don’t let it get you down though. Remember that Humane absolutely wet the bed on launch. No reminders, timers, or calorie tracking? $600 for a gen 1 of a product? That’s a lot to ask of most people. Having to awkwardly have two phone numbers and pay another subscription? Dull/Low resolution photos and shaky video on a device released in 2024? Meta glasses look 10X better so Humane has no excuse. These are things average consumers are not willing to just try. I agree there is a double standard with Apple and Vision pro. People would buy it because Apple made it, but that’s not entirely true. Apple has earned its reputation of defining segments and changing industry. Same with Google, Microsoft etc. I hope that Humane can hold on and that some of these reviewers come back and do follow up reviews to show how far they’ve come because there is a lot of tech here and a team that really seems to care about it’s vision hopefully it’s not to late.
