Although, it doesn't fix ping/Upload speed issues (ISP issue). It did fix my expected download speeds. I am paying for 1GB Internet, however, I was getting around 215 MBPS. This changed when I used the settings, up to 924 MBPS. Which is close to what I expected, so I could download games.

Why does this happen? This is because by default, windows add a lot of speed locks to your Network Driver for older computers (been doing it since Windows XP). Since, they do use more CPU the higher your MBPS is. It's just the amount of CPU usage is so minimal; these days doesn't do very much impacting CPU performance.

Used TCP Optimizer 4.1.1, about 4 days ago and NO buffering when streaming content from my favorite sports sites. Automatically adjusted my Wifi and Ethernet cards, NO buffering. Can now watch Milwaukee Bucks games with NO buffering, not even a stutter! Thought this software looked gimmicky but ITS THE REAL DEAL! 😃👍

I'm not very "tech savvy" but I just want to play some online games (tf2 and srb2kart). My ping usually goes as high as 50, rarely it goes below 27. For context: I am using T-Mobile Home Internet. I keep seeing conflicting results from others. I want to try to this, but I'm scared to brick my laptop.

I spent days on every solution to fix my Windows 11 desktop connection. There were zero changes to my PC since I built it over a year ago, and randomly I started getting sub 10-15mbps or it would completely disconnect. I verified the CAT6 cables were fine as they posted correct speeds on a laptop, and the router was outputting full speeds, as well as everything connecting to my switch or through my router network was posting appropriate speeds. Even getting 500+ over Wifi. I even swapped to a 1GB USB 3 adaptor only to see it cap at 50-100mbps, then installed a Realtek 2.5G PCI card to still see it capped at the same speeds. Every report back on the PCI card, the motherboard and the USB adapter said they should be pulling up to 1GB speeds, but was clearly not exceeding 100 or worse. I tried every terminal command, all NIC settings changes, driver updates, MOB bios updates, and absolutely nothing worked until this.

I really wish I knew what the issue was, but I am back up to my expected speeds.
