From reading all the comments, I think most dont/didnt understand this video is about LATENCY than speed. Meaning you can get a really good LATENCY aka low ping at the cost of speed. If you are worried about speed, pay attention TCP Window auto tuning. Leave it alone if you are worried about speed. More importantly than all else, if you dont know what you are doing, ask or do YOUR research.

i had this problem for months where my upload latency seems to spike 20 - 200 every time i do a speedtest for whatever reason so i tried changing router cables, factory reset, changed the router itself, but somehow this video fixed it THANK YOUU

The general rule is to have your transmit buffer size 2x your receive buffer. For example, if your receive buffer is 512, you want your transmit buffer to be 1024 / set your receiver to 1024 and the transmit to 2048

If your having bad mbps download speed from after the tcp tweak just turn the "tcp window auto tuning" from disabled to normal.

When we first got fiber and I did a speed test on my daughter's PC which has a mechanical hard drive it wouldn't get past half of our fiber cap speed and that's when I realized that fiber was faster than the mechanical hard drive. We upgraded her drive to SSD and now she gets good speed test results.

HEY KHORVIE, love your optimization videos man, while i was disabling some settings in 6:10 ish, i realized i have this 2 settings, 1 is recv segment coalescing (ipv4) and recv segment coalescing (ipv6) should i disable these two? :3

hey, please mention that you should check your ping/wifi speed when making these changes to make sure they don’t negatively impact connection, and also add a disclaimer that some settings work better for others. i enabled offloads and got my ping decreased even more while tcp optimizer increased my ping.
