NEW YORK, April 24, 2023 — Following a special preview screening of the third and final episode of “America and the Taliban” docuseries, an expert panel discusses how America's 20-year investment in Afghanistan culminated in a stunning Taliban seizure of Kabul on August 15, 2021. Participants include the series' producer and chief correspondent Martin Smith, former ambassador of Afghanistan to the United States Roya Rahmani, and Colonel Jason Dempsey, executive director of Columbia University's Center for Veteran Transition and Integration. Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter and Columbia University’s Li Center for Global Journalism Director Azmat Khan moderated the conversation. US will never be forgiven for what they did in Afghanistan but its rarely discussed in the media as well and, I thank this channel for bringing the panel who knows the ground reality apart from the Afghan lady she does not what she is talking about and probably might have been busy in the corruption with the blood of innocent Afghan people.
